Caramel Sandal

I bought these shoes after the black Chelsea boots, which I sized up in and are the perfect size and feel. If you’re considering sizing up in these sandals, consider the fit you want. I sized up on these as well, and now that they’ve arrived I realise that it maybe wasn’t the best idea. The front pink strap sits quite a lot further down on my foot than I thought, but I can adjust so that it fits perfectly. I’m not sure my typical size would have been perfect either, but consider that. If I were to do it again I’d still size up, because I prefer a bit of a long shoe over a tight shoe, but you may think differently.

Other than the sizing issue, which is a problem with my own feet, not insecta, these sandals are incredible! The leather-look section at the heel is incredibly soft but sturdy, and a stunning colour. The pink fabric strap also adds a lovely texture to the shoe. Comparing them to other vegan leathers I have, they’re somewhere between a shiny and matte finish. They’re definitely not matte, but not a shiny patent leather type material either. Just really beautiful. So ready for the Australian summer in these!
